Evolution Models Fusions
The Evolution Fusion has been designed with the Fun Fly enthusiast in mind. Created with style and flair to produce a highly aerobatic and attractive model. The Fusion has been designed to be robust but lightweight; many of the precision laser cut parts interlock making construction accurate, simple and most importantly strong.
The kit also contains a comprehensive hardware pack that includes high quality components such as the tank, wheels, collets, closed loop system, metal clevises and horns to name but a few. See the contents page to view all the components. Just add an engine, radio gear and covering and you're away. The instruction manual contains step-by-step photos to make the construction clear and simple for the beginner or the experienced pilot.
The only choice you have to make is whether to bolt on a glow engine or electric motor. The prototype glow models have been flown with Thunder Tiger 42's giving out of sight vertical performance, but the kit and engine cost under £110.00!! This makes it affordable to every club modeler. The Fusion is a traditional building kit, allowing the builder control over the construction and enabling design of an individual colour scheme rather than just another model off the shelf. Construction is simple, and a 24 page instruction manual with over 100 pictures shows you every step in detail!!
The lightweight wing is constructed in a traditional method, but uses depron foam for the ribs. During tests with Depron we have found it to be light, strong and more than suitable for this application. It will not warp or twist and maintains The prototype electric and glow models both weighed in at only 2 3/4 lbs ready to fly!! (Using 4 Perkins 2BB MG servos, Futaba R146ip receiver, covered in Profilm).
The Evolution Fusion is as satisfying to build as it is to fly. The slow handling characteristics are second to none. With the control rates set in the sports mode, the Fusion is forgiving but purposeful. With the rates wound up the Fusion will transform into a 3D model, in addition to being excellently suited to Fun Fly competitions. The Fusion will perform loops on the spot, roll in the wink of an eye, and fly like it is on rails. Just see the videos!
