• The latest additions to the already extensive Tornado range of brushless speed controllers are the Tornado OPTO series ESCs. An XP speed control is a speed controller with a built in Battery Elimination Circuit (BEC) to provide power for the receiver and servos.  This option is switchable on the ESC programming menu with the option to turn the BEC off.
